El Segundo, CA -- May 11, 2000 - R.E.D. announced
it has secured a licensing agreement with video game publisher
Activision to develop a Game Boy Color game based on the popular
Tech Deck line of miniature skateboards. The game is scheduled
to be in stores for the 2000 holiday season.
R.E.D. worked in conjunction with Tech Deck's licensing company,
J. Roth & Associates, to best represent the consumer product
in the video game industry.
"Tech Deck is a great product and a natural for the video
game environment," said R.E.D.'s Paul D. Cunningham. "We are
fortunate for the opportunity to work with J. Roth & Associates
and leverage our industry knowledge and contacts to secure
a development deal for Tech Deck with a major publisher."
