R.E.D. is a proven, valuable partner for helping game publishers
and developers achieve their goals by providing them with valuable
information and business development resources. R.E.D. leverages
its broad, real-time industry intelligence to give publishers access
to the broadest range of development teams, and provide developers
with access to the broadest range of available projects. We help
both parties arrive at deals that are win-win for everyone.
Game Publishers
It is challenging for even the most plugged-in game publisher
to find the right game studios to develop its licensed properties.
Studio rosters are in constant flux, and the game talent you thought
you were hiring may have already moved on.
R.E.D. is in continual contact with developers and draws upon a
deep reservoir to offer game publishers and other entertainment
companies up-to-date knowledge of existing development studios.
We know who is working at these studios and what their track records
are; we are informed about their bandwidth and technical capabilities.
That's a great asset for a publisher.
Partnering with R.E.D. simplifies the expensive, time-consuming
task of locating the right development studio. Since the job of
finding and signing development teams is generally falls on producers,
partnering R.E.D. frees them to focus their valuable time on developing
hit games.
Development Studios
The intense nature of game development can make the vitally important
task of securing future projects problematic for independent studios.
R.E.D. is in constant communication with game publishers regarding
their development needs, and we leverage that real-time intelligence
to match studios with projects. Developers too often lack the time
to gather such information and consequently miss out on opportunities
to bid for projects for which they are a great match.
We want to help studios find projects and secure development agreements
that financially reward their hard work and creativity. Studios
also benefit from our experience constantly negotiating development
deals, in addition to our accurate sense of what kinds of deals
publishers are willing to negotiate and how much they are willing
to invest in development projects.
R.E.D. also works to bring original properties to the forefront,
package them with a team whose skills and experience are appropriate
to that property, and shopping that around to publishers whose product
line-up is a complimentary fit with that package. Also, given the
increasing convergence of games with other forms of entertainment,
when we are negotiating deals on behalf of our clients, we seek
to leverage opportunities for them across multiple entertainment
mediums.
